Agreement

By accessing or using RailsKit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and RailsKit.

Account Registration

To access purchased components, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Purchase & Payment

RailsKit offers a one-time purchase of $149 (USD) for lifetime access to all components. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.

License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a license to use the components as described in our License page. The license is personal to the purchaser and may not be transferred or shared.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the components.
  • Use the components to create a competing component library or marketplace.
  • Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

All components, documentation, and content on the RailsKit website are the intellectual property of RailsKit. Your purchase grants you a license to use the components, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property. The RailsKit name, logo, and branding remain our exclusive property.

GitHub Access

Purchasers may optionally provide a GitHub username to receive an invitation to our private repository. This access is granted for your personal use and must not be shared. We reserve the right to revoke repository access if these terms are violated.

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 14 days of payment for a full refund. Refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method. After 14 days, purchases are non-refundable.

Limitation of Liability

RailsKit is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your access to the website and GitHub repository will be revoked. Components already copied into your projects may continue to be used under the license terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
